2nd time this year!

I really do not understand how other moms have time to do this! You gals are amazing!

Well, I am not even sure where to begin since so much has happened since we last did this.

Let's work backwards, I guess...

Halloween was wonderful! We dressed up as Smokey and went trick-or-treating with our family friends, The Henrys. Knox loved getting candy, so much so that for about 5 houses he screamed "I want more!" after he received his candy. Don't worry; we had a little chat about being grateful for whatever we get! The next few houses he would say "Thank You", followed by "No more."

Cheese!
After we tricked and treated for about an hour the boys had enough so we went back to the Henrys to hand out candy. Knox loved to grab two big hand fulls and put them in the other kids bags! At one point he was screaming for two teenage girls to "Come back" since they only took one piece each - I guess he thought it wasn't enough!

We have also been to the pumpkin patch! Knox really loved the petting zoo. He got to pet a goat, a few horses, a donkey, and some bunnies! He wasn't scared at all! Of course, we grabbed some pictures!

Before Halloween we had birthday bonanza! Knox and two of his friends from school are all born 4 days apart. The first picture is of Knox enjoying a Spiderman cupcake at school followed by some picutres from Knox's party.

Thanks Jason's mom!

Argh!

He even blew out his own candle!

We went to have breakfast on the Monday of Knox's actual birthday:

We had a great time at Uncle Jacob's wedding, but we are still waiting to see some photos. This is me and my big guy! He did a really great job of walking down the aisle even though you can tell from this picture he wasn't happy about that sweater vest!

Random - We just like to have a good time!
My birthday! We are enjoying some SnoBiz!

Knox loves for Betsy to read to him!

Mr. Potato Head glasses

Slide! One of Knox's favorite things to do!

Geez, we miss these guys!

Uh Oh

Knox loves to say it and I think it completely sums up what I have done to this blog! I apologize to all my avid followers (yes, I am talking to both of you!) I will work to do better but Knox is soo much fun and I don't want to miss a second. Not to mention that he loves to press all the buttons on the computer when it is open!

Anyways, to the good stuff. Knox is 18 months and has the biggest laugh, well, more of a giggle. He loves to be tickled and usually will instigate you to get him. We can't get him to stop singing and dancing. He usually can get one of us to sing by putting his little finger to his check like 'Happy and You Know It'. He also really enjoys reading! We have even peeked in on him in his room reading to himself! He still only has 6 teeth, 4 top and 2 bottom. We keep expecting company anytime, especially with all the drool! Still getting the hang of his utensils, but is very independent and loves to practice.

Regardless of the weather we are "side" (outside). Knox loves to play teeball and golf. So far it looks like he may be a lefty! Auburn has a little airport where they have classes so most afternoons we get to see one of Knox's favorite things, "a-plan" (airplane), but sometimes he may just be pointing at birds! At least they are flying! We can also hear the train from our house so with every whistle he will sprint to the door or window with a surprised look on his face and say "Train!" Then we have to explain that we can't see the train like we can when we are visiting GiGi and Granddad, but may still declare whether it is going to Guthrie or Cedar Hill for fun.

Working on his vocab all the time, our conversations ususally sound like this: Knox asks "Mama, that?" I say "Tree.", Knox asks "That?", and I say "Tree.", Knox asks "Thaaaat?" I say "Baby, that's a tree." Knox says "Baby!"

At our last appointment Knox measured 32.5 inches and was 27 lbs 9 ounces - still our big boy! Well, now that Knox is asleep and Bo is at a work dinner I will use my precious quiet time to relax, Bo is double recording so maybe I will just grab a cat nap before he gets home!

Sending everyone love from Auburn, Alabama! War Eagle!

He is getting so big!

Knox continues to grow and surprise us every day! At our last doctor's appointment he was still in the 90th percentiles for both height and weight, and since he was 23 pounds he had officially outgrown his infant carseat. So we got out the carseat that we have had for months only to find out that it was front facing only, therefore, he wouldn't be able to use it until he is one. So we returned that seat to BabiesRUs and bought two on Amazon. I will let the picture tell you how Knox felt about the seat...

Happy in the new seat

Since March

Lots has happened! I will try to keep this short and put lots of pictures because I know that's what everyone is here for.

We made it back for Easter and got some good visiting in:

We are enjoying food:

March 20th

Okay, I am officially the worst blogger ever! March 20th was a very important day for Knox and our family - that morning we dedicated Knox to the Lord, that afternoon he decided to roll over for the first time and we tried cereal for dinner! Enjoy some pictures:

Loving our jumper these days!

Last two months...

Geez, I can't believe that it has been almost two months since I updated this! Time flies! We enjoyed a Tennessee Christmas and a quiet New Year at home.

Knox had his first encounter with Santa. He was asleep and decided to stay that way even though it was only about 30 degrees outside!

This is Christmas Eve when it had just started to snow really hard. We figured since it was Knox's first snow we should get a quick pic, as you can see Knox didn't like it to much!

We had lots of family time. Here is Knox taking a nap on Granddad.

This is the best gift of 2010!

Knox hopes that everyone is having a great start to 2011!
